It appears the U.S. Supreme Court is putting a hold on these proceedings until it has a chance to do a full vetting of the case. We hope the court will choose to put the safety of women above the blatantly political actions of the FDA and the interests of big Pharma.
While we wait to learn more about its legal status, women need to know about the inherent risks of abortion chemicals to their bodies that have been hidden for too long. With one in five women who undergo a chemical abortion suffering a complication that requires further medical attention, we hope the final ruling will be an important step towards restoring safeguards for women’s health and safety.
