(April 4, 2025 — Topeka, KS): We were thrilled to see House Bill 2307 pass unanimously in both chambers and pleasantly surprised to see it signed into law by the governor. Kansas legislators made it clear that families receiving prenatal or postnatal diagnoses deserve to be surrounded by a circle of compassionate care and support. We look forward to seeing the work of the Kansas Council on Developmental Disabilities (KCDD) in action as they ensure Kansas families know children with Down Syndrome and other conditions are valued members of our communities.
