Today, as the Kansas Supreme Court convenes for a special evening session at Liberal High School, Kansans for Life (KFL) will display the AFTERMATH traveling memorial across the street to reveal the real-life consequences of the court’s radical abortion rulings to the public.
AFTERMATH is an immersive, walk-through exhibit designed to awaken Kansans to the reality of skyrocketing abortion numbers in our state and invite them to learn, reflect, and respond. Spanning nearly the size of a basketball court, the impressive exhibit features 19,811 medical-grade, silicone fetal models—representing each human life lost to abortion as reported in the state of Kansas’ most recent abortion statistics, released in 2025.
“Kansans for Life invites the Kansas Supreme Court justices, along with all members of the Liberal and surrounding southwest Kansas communities, to visit the AFTERMATH display to better understand the real-world consequences of the court’s recent abortion rulings, which struck down common-sense protections for both women and preborn babies,” said Mackenzie Ayers, KFL Director of Communications.
“The justices should not remain ignorant of the consequences of their court decisions. Today, we invite them to step outside the courtroom, walk through the AFTERMATH display, and dare to see what their rulings have meant in real lives,” said Ayers.
The AFTERMATH display has now visited 25 communities to unite caring people in support of vulnerable women and preborn babies.
“Aftermath is not about shaming individuals. It is about making the collective cost visible and moving communities toward greater compassion, action, and support for women facing unexpected pregnancies. To understand the scope of this tragedy for the people of Kansas, it must be seen.”
