Kansans for Life (KFL), the state’s largest pro-life organization, continues to expand the organization’s capacity and strengthen its educational, outreach and advocacy efforts.
KFL welcomes Amanda Grosserode to the team as Johnson County Grassroots Director. Grosserode’s work will focus primarily on volunteer recruitment and mobilization as the pro-life movement takes the abortion industry head on.
Grosserode brings extensive experience in grassroots mobilization having served three terms in the Kansas House of Representatives, District 16. She was elected to the House in 2010 and represented her Overland Park and Lenexa constituents from 2011-2017. Grosserode has worked on several additional candidate campaigns, filling various grassroots leadership roles beginning in 2009 and again as recently as 2018.
“The people of Johnson County deserve to know the truth about the current danger to all existing Kansas laws regarding the regulation of abortion and the VALUE THEM BOTH Amendment as the people’s remedy to correct the situation,” said Grosserode. “I am excited to bring my experience and energy to the pro-life movement at this critical time.”
Grosserode is a graduate of Wayne State College with a degree in Elementary Education. Prior to beginning her family, she taught in Shawnee Mission School District. She currently teaches at Brighton Academy, where she began in 2018.
